<\/p>\nCell Enhancer \u2013 a new innovation developed by ADVATEC Company Limited \u2013 was introduced at a joint press conference held by NSTDA and Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) on 28 February 2022. The development of Cell Enhancer was supported by a joint program implemented by NSTDA Innovation and Technology Assistance Program (ITAP-NSTDA) and TCELS to raise the capability of Thai SMEs to develop functional food products for commercialization. The program provides funding for research, development and clinical studies of functional food.<\/p>\n

Cell Enhancer is a technology that increases the performance of bioactive compounds. The technology which has been trademarked as \u201cCell Enhanz\u201d was awarded Gold Medal at Inventions Geneva 2021 in Switzerland. Cell EnhanzTM<\/sup> is a natural product that acts as a co-supplement in functional food to enhance the absorption and bioavailability of active ingredients. The technology has already been applied to enhance the performance of capsaicin and resveratrol in dietary supplement products.<\/p>\n ITAP-NSTDA provides technical assistance to businesses to increase their value through better product matching with the new market. Over the past six years (2016-2021), ITAP has assisted more than 10,500 Thai SMEs and supported more than 8,200 R&D projects.
