The event was presided over by Prof. Katsunori Hanamura, Chair of TAIST \u2013 Tokyo Tech Steering Committee, and NSTDA Executive Vice President Dr. Chadamas Thuvasethakul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6213 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bcg.in.th\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/103-1-TAIST\u2013Tokyo-Tech.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bcg.in.th\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/103-1-TAIST\u2013Tokyo-Tech.jpg 550w, https:\/\/bcg.in.th\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/103-1-TAIST\u2013Tokyo-Tech-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>TAIST \u2013 Tokyo Tech is a graduate program established under the collaboration between NSTDA, Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) and Thai universities &#8211; Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University; Kasetsart University; King Mongkut\u2019s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang; King Mongkut\u2019s University of Technology Thonburi; and Mahidol University \u2013 aiming to produce world-class researchers and high-level engineers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6212 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bcg.in.th\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/103-2-TAIST\u2013Tokyo-Tech.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"521\" height=\"325\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bcg.in.th\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/103-2-TAIST\u2013Tokyo-Tech.jpg 521w, https:\/\/bcg.in.th\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/103-2-TAIST\u2013Tokyo-Tech-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 521px) 100vw, 521px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In her remarks, Dr. Chadamas stated that this year\u2019s program is mainly sponsored by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) with partial funding contributed by Thai universities. The program currently has 69 enrolled students, 23 of which are Thai and 46 are international representing Asian countries, including Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Nepal and Pakistan. TAIST \u2013 Tokyo Tech offers three programs, namely Automotive and Advanced Transportation Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things, and Sustainable Energy and Resources Engineering.
