NSTDA joins the 2024 ATM CONNECT: Green Talent Development to Enhance ASEAN Economic Co-Creation and Sustainable Society through STI-Based Solutions

 

The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) joined the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) in hosting the 2024 ATM CONNECT: Green Talent Development to Enhance ASEAN Economic Co-Creation and Sustainable Society through STI-Based Solutions. The event, which took place from February 27 to March 1, 2024, aimed to promote the ASEAN Talent Mobility (ATM) platform and facilitate the development of comprehensive work plans to address critical issues and foster an ASEAN research community.

The event featured distinguished speakers from ASEAN member countries, representatives from ASEAN member countries and the European Union, representatives from agencies under the MHESI, representatives from higher education institutions, and representatives from other relevant agencies.

The event included activities that promoted cooperation with agencies in the ASEAN region. Highlights included the Special Meeting: Enabling STI-informed Implementation of ASEAN Strategy for Carbon Neutrality, the Workshop of ATM Experts Group, and the Special Meeting on ASEAN Innovation Roadmap Implementation.

NSTDA co-organized the ASEAN BCG Network Governing Council Meeting, which was attended by network members who exchanged knowledge on BCG and discussed future joint activities. These activities are all beneficial for research and development and sustainability in the ASEAN region.
